Last Race: Jeremy Mayfield finished 38th in the Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. The No. 70 dropped to 36th in owner points and subsequently Mayfield and Haas CNC Racing decided to end their partnership, opening the door for Johnny Sauter to drive the car at Phoenix.
